Mr. Loudermilk started his career in education as a science teacher. He taught a variety of high school science courses for 11 years and also coached cross country and swimming & diving. After several years as a classroom teacher, Mr. Loudermilk was given the opportunity to serve as a district instructional technology specialist. After successfully serving in this role for two years he was again approached and given the opportunity to serve in a greater leadership role as an assistant principal at La Porte High School. At the conclusion of his third year as an AP, Mr. Loudermilk was named Principal of Viola DeWalt High School. This Fall he will begin his fourth year as principal of Viola DeWalt High School.
